The Mac app’s license

HalfSheet downloaded from the Mac App Store is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a separate custom license is expressly provided in the App Store listing. That agreement governs the app license. This page describes website use and important product information; it does not replace the applicable app license or Apple’s store terms.

Your recipes and content

You keep ownership of the recipes and other content you enter. You are responsible for having permission to use any content you import and for maintaining backups of important information. HalfSheet does not claim ownership of your library.

Calculations need your judgment

Scaling, costs, pricing suggestions, allergen information, and nutrition calculations depend on the data you enter and any external data you choose to use. Check ingredient quantities, units, yields, supplier prices, and preparation details before relying on the results.

Nutrition labels and allergen information are estimates and previews, not laboratory analysis, medical advice, a food-safety guarantee, or certification that a product meets labeling regulations. Verify information independently before serving food, making allergy claims, or publishing a commercial label. HalfSheet cannot determine cross-contact in your kitchen.

Apple and external services

iCloud, the Mac App Store, and USDA FoodData Central are operated by their respective providers. Their availability, limits, terms, and privacy practices apply when you use them. HalfSheet is not affiliated with or endorsed by USDA.

Any app price and purchase terms will be shown in the Mac App Store before purchase. Apple handles App Store payments and applicable refund requests under its policies and applicable law. This website does not process payments.

Using the website

You may use this website to learn about HalfSheet and obtain support. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site’s operation, or misuse its content. The HalfSheet name, icon, website design, and original website material remain the property of their respective owners.
